at the place i do volunteer work at i found 2 baby hatchling redfoots. one of them has some really cool colors and looks anery. it is white where there should be color and has blue eyes. ill try to attach a picture but i dont know if i can, if not check out www.youtube.com/hiimsteveduh for a video of it. Has there ever been an anery redfoot?

sometimes being raised indoors makes tortoises have lighter colored shells. that is how leopards get their "blonde" color phase. Or at least that is what I read somewhere. Do you work for a rescue or something

Sort of, I do volunteer work for the Cheloian Reasurch Institute. And i dont think that is why he has wierd colors, because he was born outside and when i found him wondering around in the outdoor pen i noticed right then and there he had wierd coloring, and blue eyes. plus its not just like he has a faded coloring, it is pure white everywhere where he should be colored, including his feet, parts of his shell and even the bottom of his shell.

Well I am by no means an expert on them. Just thought I would throw out an option. I just got a pair of reds and a pair of yellows from a buddy. They are awesome. Could you send me some pics of the little guy to lonestarreptiles@sbcglobal.net
