sometimes I'll walk in on my toads and they will be standing on each others heads..anyone know if this is fighting? or are they just having fun?

Most toads are not territorial, but what species do you have?

american toads, both I think..one may be a southern toad though
bufo's don't fight so you shouldn't have a problem. i regularly see a lot of my frogs sitting on eachother, nothing to worry about.

toads are not highly intelligent in the way that mammals are and outside of the breeding season seem to have no concept of each other. hence they will walk right across each other, sit on each other and if size allows, eat each other. As for having fun I don't think the idea exists for most reptiles and amphibians
really? they dont have fun? I think they do, but I'm a hopeless romantic.
