Red eared sliders

Are red eared siders considered aquatic or semi aquatic? In my experience semi aquatic turtles are species like asian box turtles and wood turtles. Thanks in advance

They are aquatic. They spend the majority of their time
in the water and only come out to bask or possibly lay
eggs.

Hope this helps
Linda
