Just wondering if anyone had any experience keeping these snakes (Rhamphiophis rubropunctatus) and could give me some tips on their care. Thanks.

I have a big 7 foot female and I feed her adult mice every 2 weeks. I keep the temperature at around 84 during the day and room temperature at night. They like to burrow so should be given deep enough subtrate to do that and also climb so give them a little driftwood. They're diurnal and are a lot like coachwhips but they are more placid. I don't know much about the venom but i do know that it isn't very strong. Give them a cage that gives them room to stretch out so for an adult, i'd say a 55 gallon would be good. =)

Hope this helps,
Austin
