Hi i have a group of RES turtles all between 6-7 yrs old and one of my females has been sleeping alot on the bottom of the tank, also her eyes seem puffed out when they are closed. The others climb on her and she hardly budges. She still eats when food is offered and her eyes seem fine when they are open. anyone have anyclue what is going on. she is the only one of my 5 that is having this issue.

You need to separate her from the rest of them in her
own enclosure. This is not normal and I suspect the beginning
of a respiratory infection. If she is sick she may make
the rest of them ill. The other possibility is that she
is being bullied by one or more of the others.

I would also consult with a vet who is experienced with
turtles.

Hope this helps
Linda
