Where is everyone????

JKruse Oct 14, 2008 09:14 PM

Nothing but crickets and echoes......but this happens every once in a blue. Okay, this happens alot. C'mon fellas.....I know we're winding down for the winter but how is everyone so far??? Almost all my little gems have shut down on feed mode and just cruise around almost tirelessly. Any thoughts as to this behavior?

I am wedged in a crevice just catching some late fall rays on my backneck.

One of my 08 pyros has been doing this restless behaviour, although this morning she is asleep in her moss hide (the green container in the back of the tank.)
I gave her a piece of manzanita to climb on, which seemed to help her use up some of that energy.

All my king snakes are still eating. The five pyros are 08 babies so I have no plans to brumate anyone.

All my Az. kings (Pyros) love to climb and just hang out. They make great pets.

Glad to see some come out of the depths. Beauteeful pyros and I'm sure they benefit from the "busy" habitat from a psychological perspective.

Classic Juarez -- very nice man. Demian is a nice guy as well. Smaller meals on a more frequent basis always works well if the animal is receptive to it. Good on ya mate.

Jonel,

I'm curious as to what name you would bestow upon this snake based upon the head pattern as you'd liberally done in the mexicana forum. LOL.

Hi Jonel
"My" little guy looks awesome. Have you succeeded in getting the female going yet? For the two left here, the female is doing extremely well, but the male still refuses. I've been thru just about every trick in the book, including small lizards, but no response whatsoever.

regards
/Peter

P.S. I had a computer harddrive crash recently and all my email addresses were lost, that's the reason why you havent heard from me earlier. D.S.
