Breeding C. lepidus

irunfast Oct 21, 2008 12:51 PM

I have a pair of Crotalus lepidus that I would like to breed next year and am looking for some more information. If anyone has had any success with them I would appreciate any info you could provide. I am interested in hibernation temperatures as well as length of hibernation. I am also wondering if I should hibernate them seperately or if it is ok to hibernate them together. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

I got my pair (C. lepidus lepidus) to breed this year. They were just put in the garage over the winter. The temps in there did not get that low as there was a mild winter last year. I think the coldest it got was mid 40s. Most of the temps were 50s and 60s. They were in there for about 3 months. I did keep the pair together during hibernation too.
