Yea, my painted turtle is 3.5 inches long and is in a 20 gallon long, I know I need a bigger Tank. Thats why I came here, I only have $50 bucks. I was thinking about getting a stock tank, but how many gallons, I was thinking 40 but I dont know where to buy? Is there any way to get like a storage bin and put water in that?Please help me out? Links, suggestion whatever, I jst want something bigger! I have 2 filters, a 20 and 30 gallon so I will use those for a while until Christmas when Ill get a new tank and filter and Bearded dragons! =) Thanks

I don't think a 20 gallon is too small for your turtle, I would think you could wait awhile. I use plastic totes for my turtles-it sits near a window and I have to clean it twice a week, I just siphon the water out the window...it's cheap but a lot of work.
