This little guy came to me this morning. I am a snake man, don't know much about geckos at all. Long story short, it was found running around Petsmart, and the Petsmart reptile person told them it was not a species of gecko sold at Petsmart. What is it?

Looks like a little Crested Gecko to me. Rhacodactylus ciliatus.

I third the Crested gecko.
There is a forum abut them here, but the best resource I've ever found has been Repashy's Reptile Forums. You also might want to pick up some Crested gecko diet too, it's great for them.
