silkworms for varied diet?

apaquet Nov 04, 2008 09:05 AM

Hello everyone,

I am looking to vary my dragon's diet. He is a juvenile and I am considering silkworms. Does anyone have any pros or cons of feeding silkworms to frillies?

thanks for any advice

Anna

silk worms are great. they are what high in calcium. and my frilly loves silks. its his favorite type of worm. check out this video of him eating some pinkies and silks:

My frillie got out, went under the fridge, and I spent a long time getting her out without hurting her. Now shes havin one of those sulk sessions because I guess I freaked her out. Any1 have any advice?

Is your frillie still sulking?

give it a day or two.

I once had an iguana of mine climb on top of the fridge and fall behind it. He was scared, but he got over it.

Now shes like... half sulking she eats a little and moves a little. But hey its better than the first few days.

my frilly is sulking too. damn these frillies and they enjoyment to sulk. hahaha. i noticed the only difference my frill made in his personality as in him sulking is i take him out in the morning time when i have time to get some real sunshine and boy does he love it.

he'll grasp onto my hand really tight and jus stretch his rear legs out on my arm and chillax. u should try it. but im sure u guys have already

OH AND IF HES NOT EATING TRY FEEDING HIM SOME APPITITE STIMULATOR FROM I BELIEVE ZILLA OR SOMETHING I FORGOT THE COMPANY. BUT MY FRILL ATE AFTER I FED HIM SOME.

I wasn't sure if he would eat them but, he really seems to like the silkworms.
