my uro brumates (reduced activity) every year now for 4 years. would trying to force her out of brumation be an unnecessary stress? i worry about her, she is a (no)touchy one, lol.

Has there been a problem with letting her brumate in the past? Is there some reason you want to stop her from brumating this year (poor health after brumation, parasite load, etc)? I'm just curious.

actually, yes. parasite load, etc. but she wants to "chill out" so I worry about stress.

You should not let her brumate before you have cleared up the heavy parasite load. Start her on the deworming medication - keep her basking temps up and her light bright. They often key into changes in light intensity and length (even if they appear unnoticable to us) adding an extra bulb for more light and leaving the lights on a little longer may help.

didn't even think...i will add some more flourescent lights and leave the lights on later in the evening. she is responding to fading out the lights one by one, though...so i will keep temps the same for now and see. thanks.
