I have a snake that I will need an ID on, however I am letting him settle in and adjust before I poke and prode too much. I suspect there is a chance he is a blue racer, but I have had a BIZARRE year here with the rescue and have come across way too many snakes I could not ID.

So before I get my camera out this weekend, does anyone have photos of adult blue racers from belly and top side?

Here's one I found a couple of years ago. It's either a Blue Racer or Blue x Black intergrade. I saw a Black Racer in the vicinity when I released this snake.

The bellies of racers are unpatterned and can be white, grey, yellow or black.

Thanks alot! I am thinking from head shape (and temperment) what I have is not. I have had a totally bizarre year in rescue with more snakes I have needed ID's on. The snake I have is most definitely blue however and cant photograph for the life of me. Will have an ID this weekend however.
