Greek beak chipping problem

Has anyone encountered this before? His beak is shipping or flaking away. There are a few pieces of slate in his enclosure, but I have never seen him try to chew on them. Any suggestions?

hello may english is no very goof but i think you must go to a vet he may drill the overgrow pice with a mini dremell
