Cuban trees as pets

Im wondering if anyone here has ketp Cuban Tree Frogs. I am wondering if they make a good captive and what size closer you found ideal?

they are really hardy frogs, i have not kept them personally but i think they would do well in a 20-30 gallon type tank.

Just make sure they are kept warm and away from smaller animals, including frogs. Most treefrogs won't eat other frogs, except perhaps by accident, but the Cubans have been known to feed on other frogs, such as green treefrogs, in the wild.

They are found in my yard . They like it hot like 80s at night and humid you see them in numbers during the Spring and Summer while they are sluggish during cool nights.

I have actually seen them eat night house geckoes close to their size

This is one of the reasons it is considered a pest species. It is almost like a cane toad with toe pads.

I agree they are pests but here to stay as no way to eradicate them without eradicating the native treefrogs .

I have seen them eat geckoes and green treefrogs but the pesticides many home owners and city spray in the area to kill insects like mosquitos I have actually seen kill dozens of green treefrogs .
As find them dead next several days.

Give me Cuban trees any day over city spraying to kill mosquitos and other insects .
