Rexy's toenails

daniellecagirl Nov 15, 2008 07:54 PM

Hey all! I haven't been on in awhile because Rexy has been doing great! She is eating her greens and seems to have fattened up a bit. I have noticed that her toenails seem a bit long. Do I trim a lizard's nails (like a dog's) or should I leave them be?

Thanks bunches!
Danielle

You could if you need to. I trim my beardies nails all the time. I've never had to trim my Uros nails...but he is super active and keeps them pretty short.

I've actually heard that uros heve nerve endings in the nails. I tried to trim mine's once and he went crazy.
