I've had a ball python escape a couple times. Found it every time. A couple times it was under a suitcase in the closet, and another time it was under a pile of laundry.

I once found my cornsnake 8 months after it escaped. It was living in a fan that was in a box in my basement and was also taking residence under my dogs' crates. You'll find it I'm sure. I have lots of experience with escaped snakes and I usually have luck with the flashlight and staying up late looking around.

I also have a high white cal king that decided to take off. It was nowhere to be found for a few days. I put down flour at all the doorways and then eventually I saw what looked like a path that she had made. I went through the area and there she was in a box. Good thing is the white really stands out. Good luck!
