question about GTP kinky tail syndrome

talks2turtles Dec 01, 2008 10:05 AM

Hello,
I am interested in purchasing a female gtp with a slight kink in her tail and I wanted to know if there is any record of this effecting their reproduction.
Thanks,
Catherine

It generally depends on the location of the kink and how severe it is. There are plenty of animals with kinks that have been successful at reproduction. If it's right at the vent, it could potentially cause problems. If you can, post a pic so we can get a better idea.
