Does anyone know how far along the albino red ears have come? As far as life span. I know they used to not last too long. Has there been a lot of successes or does a fair percentage of them perish before theyre adults?

Late post, but I have a male Albino RES I raised from a hatchling. He will be 7 years old this year. I don't see any reason they shouldn't live as long as a normal RES as long as you get them past the hatchling phase.
