My IJ girl, Zambuka

SugarFox03 Dec 10, 2008 07:37 PM

This is my first BTS, Zambuka, that was rescued from a woman who didn't want her any longer, and really didn't know how to take care of her properly. Zambuka has been brumating the past week or two now, so I'm stuck looking at her pictures, since I don't want to bother her. Just thought I'd share...

First day home:

Just after a shed:

Her cage (the news paper is gone, it was put down until I got a clean fecal...news paper is easier to keep clean than aspen, which she now has!) She was previously living on a towel and glass cage bottom, in a 20g long. She's now in a 30g breeder.

She looks great! I love to hear of animals being rescued from poor conditions and going to good ones. It looks like it might be time for a nail trim! lol.
