Someone asked about caging for rosies awhile back. Whoever that was, here is a pic of a typical rosy cage at my house. Smallish plastic cage heated underneath by heat cable and a halogen puck light so I can see inside when servicing the cage.

I also throw some newspaper over the PVC pipes so the snakes can stay in or around the pipes and still be hidden.

The cage is sitting on its side for the picture. 25 watt heat cable, 12 feet long. Spacing is about 2 inches roughly between heat cable traces. This produces a nice gradient between the traces.

Where do the plastic cages come from? Or do you build them yourself? If you build them can you elaborate?
