Leopard Gecko Breeding

mstidman Dec 29, 2008 03:39 PM

Okay, so I fell in love with Leopard Geckos about a year ago.I have slowly built my collection up and was hoping to breed them.I have read the books and have them housed appropriately and was anticipating Mid-January or February as the beginning of breeding season.Nope, they started laying on the 10th. To my great dismay I have managed to kill the first clutch of two eggs. The second clutch came on the 16th and they seem to be doing so-so.Two females gravid now, probably lay in less than a week.Need help on deciding the correct humidity for the incubator as it appears that first clutch sunk in (no mold) just collapsed. Second set appears to be starting to sink in a little.Anyone?

Yikes, I'm sorry. I have never bred my leos. Hope someone comes along to help you though. What specifically do you mean by collapsed?
