Even though their conditions are pretty similar, what about the diet? Water dragons are insectivores and igs are herbivores. If the igs eat the crickets (I don't know, would they?), the protein would be harmful to the kidneys in time. Plus, igs get quite a bit bigger and I imagine a lot more territorial. I've never heard of anyone have water dragon issues during breeding season like circulating ig stories.
If it were me...I'd go with no.
NOOOOOO.
iguana's are very very very territorial and should not be kept together with other ig's let alone other species. They have different diets, different needs and the biggest would fight for the basking spot.
Just because someone is doing something and it appears to work, it just works as of yet, its not good i bet most of those lizards will die because of it.
the ig would kill the waterdragons. iguanas shouldn't eat any animal protien and being in the same place doesn't insure that they are getting their needs met... besides the enclosure would have to be HUGE, an iguana's should be 6' x 4' x 6' tall on its own for one single lizard. adding more would need to double the size and problems would still surely be there
"iguanas shouldn't eat any animal protien"
Why so?
Thanks,
Mike.

They are herbivorous. In the wild they eat the leaves on the tree tops. Ingestion of animal proteins will destroy kidneys and excessively shorten the life of the animal with kidney failure.
