my albino rosy boa hasnt eaten in probably 3 months and i thought he was going to shed and he hasnt ive been trying to feed him his frozen mice every week or so and he keeps refusing! he was acting normal so i didnt really worry but now tonight i tried feeding him and hes very light like he lost weight and he also isnt moving much! he is moving but usually he is all over the cage and this isnt like him. also his eyes look a little blurry, not like he is going to shed though. i really need to know whats wrong and if theres something i could do without going to a vet because i really dont have money! please help someone thanks so much

How old is your rosy boa? Was it born this past summer? Boas brumate or hibernate this time of year so it maybe on that schedule.

to tell if he is sick, you would need to post more info. it depends on his cage set up and temps. and when you say he is not moving much do you mean that he is just staying in his hid spot and not roaming the cage. if his temps are right, and he is losing significant weight, and not eating, and acting listless then there is a chance that he is sick. my limburg albino male is a hit and miss feeder right now,he will only eat pinkys in the winter but when spring rolls around and the ambient temps come up then he goes back to adult mice. just make sure he has an undertank heater that will make the substrate temp at 80* minimum so he can go there and stay warm and digest his food properly. and the best advice anyone could give you without all of information needed is take him to a good reptile vet, if you can not afford to take him there call the vet first and tell them and maybe they will let you make payments.
I hope that helps and that I did not ramble too much
Jenny
