cage questions

kingslyleon Jan 10, 2009 12:58 PM

Ok so I am building a 2'x2'x4' enclosure for my veiled and I was wondering if anyone knows anything about waterproofing the wood, as well as painting the back wall of the enclosure. I want to paint it shades of green... Anyways I was wondering if any thing could be toxic to him, or if there is any tip/trick people could offer me.. I'll be sure to post pics of the entire process.

I use zero VOC latex acrylic to paint the wood portions of my cages. There are other ways to seal wood of course, but I too like the decorative element (green, brown)
Make sure you have a way to deal with water drainage
and ventilation
