Paradox Albino Brook Korn

BeattyReptiles Jan 18, 2009 12:39 AM

I produced this little girl from a pair of brook korns that were het corn amel, poss het corn stripe and poss het brook's hypo. No stripes or hypos but I did get her! Unfortunately she never was a strong animal and passed away shortly after she hatched.

Nice snake. I believe that alb paradox has shown up ramdomly in some of the Brooksi lines so I assume that is where that came from.

Thanks for letting me know that. I had no idea there were paradoxes in the brooks kings. I was racking my brain trying to figure out where it came from. The thing is these were made by using corn amel, not brooks. Shrug?

Paradox has been seen in LAVENDER (T Positive) albino brooksi... not Amelanistic T-... so i don't think it's a matter of "coming from florida kings" ... paradox as far as i know is still an unknown trait... no one knows how it works, well at least not yet.

Paradox show up with the White-sided brooksi as well.

I wonder what to expect if I ever breed these together. the male is a yellow rat crossed with a florida king, and the albino female is a texas rat crossed with an albino honduran milk.(she has normal colored iris')

Crazy! Too bad she didn't make it. Sorry to hear it.
