......OK...what is the secret to getting them to all eat....?

babies......one will one won't....next batch one will three won't.....

I figured out how to get more eggs to actually hatch just by lowering the moisture in the hatching medium..

but they still don't all eat....

and the care sheets say "don't house them together" cause they eat anything......

.......any odd ideas?....I know all the tricks.....just don't work here......

When did they hatch?

If they've refused live pinky mice and shed at least once, try scenting a live pinky with a lizard.
If that fails try the lizard itself...

......house snakes and lizards....didn't read that one online...
.......some shed once, twice, three times and one is 5 months old.....LOL.........really.......5, 3 and over a month old and didn't eat...some eat soem don't.....

......I try lizard........Thanxx......not much online to read on them......the one page says to house them individually they eat alot and might eat each other.....yea...not..

Last summer I had 6.6 babies, kept each gender in seperate 24 quart sterilite containers, aspen shavings as the substrate, a water bowl in each, and newspaper for the snakes to hide under.

I would throw a couple pinkies into each colony every couple of days, change the water. No pinkies ever were left uneaten the next day. And if I'd single out a snake and try to feed it a pinky would go for it. Some having kingsnake-like feeding responses. One day when changing waterbowls I found a dead baby one with a pinky a little too big for that snake halfway in it's mouth. Sucks.
Some of the snakes I sold, so snakes disappeared from each colony, then I just kept feeding them the same way.
Neglected them a little. Didn't pay attention to them for a while. Kept feeding them the same, just didn't really check on any of them, all the snakes would be hiding when I threw food in or changed the water bowls.

Probably a month and a half, two months goes by, I had someone interested in buying some of the house snakes, so I went to see how many of each sex I had. One of the females was pretty big, when I first got them they were tiny, probably 8". This one female was around 13", and all the other snakes got considerably bigger too.

took anole(all I have,actually 2 yrs in the freezer too)...
three babies, tried them with warmed soaked pieces in cups....
one with the head and front legs took it, the other 2 didn't eat the old liz...
so...houses do eat liz.....hmmmm...

/.......Thanxx......I keep working them....not the great fecund snake people think......just wish the second female would actually lay to see if her babies suck as much as the first female.....second girl is huge.....

......blood from peromyscus on pinks...2 of three ate it when left under their wood hide...the one that didn't eat it...was in a delicup and has eaten before...hmmm...one was the liz eater from before...(tried once only)...

so maybe after months they might eat something?...LOL....
