Just got my first frill

sizzlindragons Feb 09, 2009 09:57 PM

I am pretty sure its a girl but not positive. From what I hear its to young to tell but that you sex them like a bearded dragon. If that is the case and this were a bearded dragon it would be a definite female.
Her owner had a tough time with her since she got her just before Christmas but she seems to be doing very well here.
I have her in a kinda odd set up I guess but she seems to like it.
She is not to skittish and is a little picky about food but eats. I am going to get some hornworms and see how that goes. She likes her supers but that is about it. I wanted to share some pics and see what everyone thinks.
I have not named her yet but I will come up with something soon.

This is the cage before I added a ton more greenery and branches.

This is it now

Here she is enjoying her cage. She is a little stressed but I think doing very well.

Thanks for looking

Thanks! She is pretty cute and I hope she likes hornworms. I might go pick up some silkies tomorrow.
I am having a custom cage built. It will be 4ft tall, 4ft wide and 2.5ft deep.
It will take a month or two but should be done by the time she needs to move. This is just kind of her temporary acclimation cage.
