Can you guys recommend a good locality type breeder, I realize most are breeding for designers but there's got to be a few working with localities.

Hello Medusa,
Your right there aren't a lot of locality type breeders in the US. Most of what you will see are farmed imports. I am one of the few breeders who work with locality types. If you take a look at my collection pages you can see examples of the different loclities. I hope that helps.
