While in the process of making and putting a fence around the Hibiscus plant.. she decided she wanted those yummy "buds"! [ don't let Vic hear me say "buds".. ]

Just pulled the branch right down -

Everyone,I dont know tery,he doesnt know me.If he did he would not be making remarks about "buds" unless he means beer. This is the second time he's said something like this about me.Maybe trying to be funny, maybe not. This is a PG rated forum for family's and young people and I only respond here to share my many years of experence.Like I said we dont know each other.Vic

PLEASE ACCEPT MY APOLOGY EVERYONE.. ESPECIALLY VIC. I WAS TRYING TO BE FUNNY IN A LEFT-HANDED WAY.. POOR JUDGEMENT ON MY PART.

I assure you I'm more embarrased than Vic is ( concerned? ).

Awhile back Vic and I had corresponded about trading spotted turtles that I had at the time. And I had asked for.. and Vic provided.. a Caresheet on Emys.

- please forgive me.

Terry.OK Thanks,We'll just stick to tortoises.I've found the writen word comes across poorly. Its hard to say how people take it.Vic..............pic is one of the few times I've seen one depositing eggs before covering them up.They brake/crack some most of the time in the process.I was able to take these out before any damage.

dunno about tricks, but junior's pretty clever when it comes to food. she walks into the kitchen and paces near the fridge and near the sink (where we prep her food), and will even try to "climb" the cabinet there, hooking her front legs onto the molding at the bottom. if we're hand feeding her and the piece of food gets dangerously tiny, if you hold it over her head she'll obligingly open her mouth upwards like a baby bird so you can drop it in!

not a redfoot, but here's a psychologist i read about a while back that taught a box turtle to come, stop, shake, and roll over:
