My precious Wally (a glossy snake) got out in October and in Feb I found him. I was reaching down to plug in my floor heater and there he was. I was soooooooooooooooooooooo happy. I'd had him for almost 6 years and I was really missing him. He sure was thin. He usually eats all winter so after 4 months he had some catching up to do.
So, if you've lost a pet, don't give up.
Congratulations on finding him. Absolutely, never give up looking. I found a cornsnake that I had lost, 8 Months after it escaped.
