what phase is he? (working i hope)

these pictures dont really do him justice. he is a dark brown almost black. he has dalmation spotting, and has light bands across his ribs.

can anyone tell me what phase he is?

Looks like a brown/light brown flame to me, he does have pattern on the sides, but I don't think enough to warrant calling him a harly.
