My little hybrid female rides the adult male around like a pony!
They really seem to hang close to each other
Thats little Tehya getting her precious mug in the pick wearing her "extra" skin. LOL! She is shedding again!

What a great picture! They all seem so focused. You can really see the Hispidus in Tehya's skin! She is a beauty!! (And thanks, again for your kind words).
I think I got your kids' names confused. Who is the hybrid? The other little girl is Tehya?
Actually, Tehya is the little granite at the bottom. I haven't named the hybrid yet. Any ideas?
The hybrid almost looks pure hispidus. Is there any mottling in its pattern?
Yes, she is about to shed as well, and I can see some various patterning in her tail that has partially shed. She will be several shades lighter after the shed. I'll be sure to take some pics.
Tom, she also doesn't have that super laid back disposition that I have heard about in Hispidus. She isn't exactly skittish, but she is very wiry and fast! When I get my granite babies out, they wander up to my shoulder and curl around my neck, and kind of meander off and into trouble after I sit down for a few minutes. LOL! That little hybrid SHOOTS up my arm to my shoulder and BOLTS! I have to be super careful with her because she will jump right off my shoulder to the floor before I know it and hit the ground running! I worry that she will hurt herself jumping that far or get away from me and into big trouble every time I have her out! I hope she settles down as she grows.
The other thing is that she seems to be rather small. As you can see, she is beefy, and she is a month younger than the granites, but it just seems like she is growing much more slowly. I guess we just have to see. I love her to pieces, and will keep yall posted on her progress.
What morph I guess you can say is that? Would it be Calico? I am wondering I guess about the male, which ever isn't a hybrid.
How big is the bigger one in that picture? They cool awesome.
