Really strange, but after separating the male from the female and putting the female back in my pone-I was doing changes when this occurred- she laid eggs. Or at least I think so. I don't tamper with nests.

This is all new to me. So I'm seeking any knowledgeable persons here as to what'd occurred.

My thoughts are, she'd all ready been pregnant, and Fred's acts of mating triggered a sort of paralysis.
