ok so we just got 2 (i think baby) fire belly newts well it looks like their losing their black color....is it b.c. they are about to shed or could something else be wrong? PLZ help thanks a bunch

Any updates? Caudates will often look less viberant before a shed, but if it looked like that when you posted it should have shed by now.
