Dumeril's not feeding

Paco84 Mar 24, 2009 09:23 PM

So my early 08 female has been off feed for about 4 months now and isn't remotely interested in feeding. When she eats she has 2 live appropriately sized mice. I tried feeding her through the first month and sparingly through the remainder. The mice just walk around like they own the joint, and even climb on her with no regard. So can she still be off feed or is she being a difficult feeder? I do know a lot of species can go months without feeding.

Thanks

Dums are just oddballs. You might try a fuzzy rat.

She started feeding on live adult mice again a few weeks ago. She's eating 4 mice every 10 days or so. She is so ravenous now she decided to try and eat my hand tonight. She chompped down and coiled!
