Pictus Gecko Egg Question

dac343 Mar 30, 2009 05:17 PM

I've been incubating a panther gecko egg since the 19th of March. Today I noticed that the egg was a pinkish color I didn't notice any mold or anything on the egg. Is it possible I'm just seeing the embryo's veins and other vesicles through the thin shell or is it a bad egg? Don't have any experience with hatching these guys but figured there might be someone out there that has seen something similar. Also I acquired some hatch-rite however, I've been using vermiculite ratio with water do you all recommend hatch rite or the vermiculite?

Just checked this forum today and noticed you didn't get an answer.
I've always used the coarse grained vermiculite so I can't tell you about the hatchrite.

If you are seeing pink in your eggs it means that they are fertile!
