I recently acquired a juvenile matamata a few days ago. After a few days in the water, using blackwater extract for conditioning the water, he ate and produced this strange looking entanglement. Anybody out there have any idea what this is? It appears to be a gray mass in the shape of a frog egg mass. Some type of dead tapeworm? I have no idea, please help if you can, and inform me if I have something to worry about
