Hi, I would give it a day or two to settle in. Putting the strawberries on the greens is a good idea. Smush them on there so that when he goes for the strawberry he gets some greens to. Let us know how it goes.

thank you yes i got him to eat yesterday after i soaked him in warm water for about 10 min then he/she was active the rest of the day.

come to find out he/she is just a month old when i got him they said he was a couple of months old so that is why i got him. but now finding out that he is younger is there anything special i need to do??????

what is the best bedding for one this age???? right now i have t-rex cypress bed in there.

Hi, I have kept very small babies on cypress with no ill effects. Feed him on a small plate so that he doesnt eat the cypress. Also limit his food to small amounts of greens and fruit. www.redfoots.com I think is the site that has some great info on it. The direct link is http://www.turtletary.com/redfootcare.htm.

Good luck with him!
