feeding question

I just rescued a juvenile tokay, and it is not interested in feeding...have not had long some im really not too wworried at the moment, but what should i do if it doesnt start to eat? any tricks?

I'm sure someone who works with these kids can give you a bit of help. Hang in there, I will check back later and see if some of our other pals have helped you. If not I will get a answer for you.

** Also like I told the above poster you can look at the posts below (Lance Portal) and maybe give him a holler as he works with and has been breeding tokays and would probably love to help your little guy.

Having/ keeping other species of lizards I would say make sure he's warm enough, all his enclosure needs are met and give him a bit of time to acclimate. *** Let us know how you have him set up and how he looks, active, healthy... thin... bright eyed.. or inactive, sickly looking???? All these things help.

Hopefully he's eating better by now.

hi thanks for the reply this forum is quite dead.. (s)he has definately brightened up in color and seems to move about now. But is very skinny still around her hips and base of teail. She seems to be eating considering the crickets cant be found, and i keep a small bowl of mealworms in there at all times... heres a couple pics, the pic of her hips is blurry i appologize!
