My alligator stopped hissing

Hi everyone I've had a young gator for over a year it is a 07 baby i try and hold him every day he eats from tongs and since the day i got him he has hissed every time you waked in the room and didn't stop tell you left or been there for a while but just the other day he didn't and just looked at me he did eat that day and and every time since than i did move his cage a few days befor this but nothing else has changed its been 3 days know and still no more hissing.. Should a be worried he mite be sick or is he just maybe finally calming down and know the hissing is not going to get me to leave??? any info would help Thanks Scott

Hi scott it sounds like he has calmed down and is used to his souroundings.Do u have any pics of him?I myeself have a 3ft spec caiman whats he like to keep?

this is him he is great to keep pretty laid back i hope he get calmer as time goes by

handle him more often , as he gets used to it, he will calm down
