new albino california king owner

I'm an RVT at an emergency clinic and animal control brought us a juvenile albino california kingsnake. A quick question; what exactly is the "lavender-phase"? Is it just more of a lavender coloration to the pink? Also, this snakes eyes are not completely red, as some seem to appear. More of a red iris with an outer ring that is blueish in color.

I think this is just a normal-phase albino california kingsnake. Everyone agree??

OK, can someone please help direct me on how to attach a photo? It's a little different here than on other forums I have been on. Thanks!

Click on "Tools and Toys" in small blue letters directly under the posting box where you write your message. Look down the list and you will find out how to post an image. [img] look for this tag. A lavender phase Cal king is actually a type of hypomelanistic morph. When adults they change from lavender to a very very light shade of brown or almost tan.
