A what age is it safe to start selling baby veileds. I was talking to a person at a pet store about how they had hatched and the person told me that they would buy them at a month old, but that seems to young, plus I DON'T want a pet store to sell my veiled.

I don't like to see them sold any earlier than 3 months old. Its not fair to the person buying them IMHO because there is a natural die-off that can happen...usually happens by three months if its going to. I expect that its the weaker ones that make up the group that dies off.

I'll sell to a reputable pet store...one that gives good accurate advise to the buyer. You can also sell them at a Reptile Show and then you can give the people first-hand advise, care sheets and information so they can contact you if they have any questions.

Thanks for the reply. And now that I think of it, I remember reading about waiting until around three months.

I finally remembered how to post a pic on so here's one of my babies.
