Outdoor Tegu in Arizona?

natesummaz May 18, 2009 09:28 PM

I have a large Male Argentine BW. I am considering moving him to an outdoor enclosure. I am worried about the intense Arizona sun. Normal Arizona summers are consistently 110f in the shade. I would build some type of underground burrow, but I am still worried about the temp. Any advise would help.
Thanks

I am sure summer temps in Argentina are pretty high too, check the weather network for some temps in their native range (Dec-Feb is their summer).

The humidity is Argentina is much higher, though.
