Cleaning time! Only way I can safely clean the cage is to get him occupied, pull him out, and we both do our thing! Female is the same way...not mean, just a ridiculous feeding response when they're "on". My pair fast on a regular basis....refuse all food for 4-5 weeks or so then eat everything in sight for a few mos. then back "off" again. Anybody else experience this w/their Scrubs? he's app. 10' BTW.

i have a female aru that does not do this.
my male barneck does this crap kinda annoying, just a tad. also might tend to help the slow maturition rate with these animals
