Are ants harmful to Sulcatas?

I have four sulcatas and I just recentley put them outside..im guessing because of the food..black ants come to their cage..will they be harmful to my tortoises??if so,what should I do to avoid the ants?

an ant here or there is not to bad but if you have ants in the pen you should eliminate their food source and they should not have a reason to go in there. ants can attack tortoises even though they have tough skin.
