Those are some nice Uro's you have. My favorites are the Sudanese. I have 2 CB 1 year olds right now. I will have to post pics soon.
What type of substrate is that? Is it millet? If so, where does one get millet in bulk?
Thanks,
Kelly
Kelly,
Thank you! Love to see pics of your CB Sudanese.
My favorite are the U.ornates but the Sudanese are a close 2nd.
Yes the substrate is millet.
I purchase it at the PET-O-Rama here in Arlington, Texas.
It is called Lizard Litter millet blend.

Thank you for the link. I do not think any of the petstores here sell it, but I bet I can find an online company to get it from. Do you prefer it over sand?
I will try to get some pics of the Sudans soon. They are still very young so they do not have much color yet, but they are supposed to be a pair. I will have to wait and see on that too.
I like the Ornates also, but decided to go with the Sudans because they stay relativly small. No Egyptions for me, thank you. LOL

I have only been using it for a month, but I do like it better then sand it is not dusty and if the Uro's eat it, it is safe.
Only issue I have so far is finding a sifter with holes big enough to fit the millet through it. It is a pain to pick greens and such out of it; I will need to find some type of sifter.
