Cuban Anole Species...

conrad Jun 03, 2009 08:46 PM

I've found some pretty compiled list of latin names for species native to Cuba, but after seeing a few anoles I'm not familiar with, I don't know which ones are which, and online searches produce virtually no descriptions or pics. Does anyone have any resources of descriptions and pictures of anole species of the Guantanamo Bay area?

You may try to get this book, you will find what you need there.

Yeah, I saw that book listed too, I was just looking at finding the info quicker and maybe cheaper too. Guess the "information superhighway" isn't always the way to go...lol

What anoles are you wondering about? Do you have photos? Gitmo is a very small area of Eastern Cuba, so the species found there could be narrowed down quite easily.
The book mentioned can be ordered by a local library, but most likely they will not allow you to check it out.
