I've never met anyone outside of an institution having captive bred ones, but sometimes those stores that rarely get them in have them arrive gravid. A few zoos have bred them.

They are fairly hard to locate. There are quite a few people who have successfully bred them. There was a man in Canada who was breeding them fairly consistently. Since they have live birth, it is not too uncommon unlike some of the other caecilians. A good place for information is caecilian.org. The site is predominantly dedicated to Typhlonectes devotees, but has other information and photos as well.
