I need a bit of help. I've incubated lots of eggs from dozens of species but this is a first for me. I have 8 eggs left form a clutch of 14 texas horned lizards. The first six collapsed right away and were presumably infertile. The rest have been expanding as most lizard eggs do. Today I noticed three of the eggs had shrunk CONSIDERABLY but I can literally see through the egg shell and see the baby inside.
This is a new one on me. The shell doesn't seem like it would be easy to break through so I'm inclinded to cut them out but want to ask first. Lester...Cable...any thoughts from anyone?
Matt
