How are you measuring the humidity? What makes you think it is too low? Having a screen top will allow much of the moisture to evaporate, rise, and escape. Do you have a large water area that he/she can soak in?

Bark substrate is not recommended for igs since it carries a risk of impaction. Igs like to go around licking and sampling their environment.

i have an humidity gauge that i read everyday.i was gonna which from bark to fake turf or lino idk yet.

Fake turf may catch toenails..lino would be good. Those stick on humidity gauges aren't very accurate. Try a digital hygrometer/thermometer. I bought one for around $15.

I bought my first digital thermo/hydro meter at a pet store for $25. Later that week I found them at Wal-Mart for $7. I now have a few of them at different places in the housing. What's the difference between the $25 meter and the $7 one? The expensive one came with a AAA battery

I am using stick on tiles I bought from the local home center for $.88/each. They look great and clean up is quick and easy.
